Most people like to read about dinosaurs. They are mighty beasts that were thought to roam the earth long ago before humans came on the scene. More and more evidence is accumulating that shows dinosaurs and humans lived at the same time and that a few are even living in the world today. Russ McGlenn’s research on the Mound Builders and their effigy mounds in the Mid-West as well as corroborating petroglyphs shows that the Mound Builders and other Indigenous Groups had contact with dinosaurs. Design Vs. Chaos: A New Model of the Atom Based on Classical Science

For many years I have heard little bits and pieces of a new theory of the atom which fits the facts and data better than the one we grew up with.  The model of the atom taught when I was in school showed a central nucleus, made of particles called protons and neutrons.  Particles called electrons were shown orbiting around the nucleus, similar to planets orbiting our sun.  This solar-system model was named the Bohr model after the scientist who designed it.  The Bohr model was based upon some assumptions already known to be false.

The new model, called the spinning-ring model or Lucas/Bergman model of the atom, is based upon the work of Dr. Thomas Barnes, David Bergman, Dr. Charles (Bill) Lucas, and Joseph Lucas.  These men have formed a research association called Common Sense Science.

The spinning-ring model of the atom is built upon the scientific method of classical physics.  Examples of classical physics are Sir Isaac Newton’s Universal Law of Gravity, his three Laws of Motion, and Euclidean geometry.  In this book, classical physics will be contrasted with modern theories of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics.

Poems of Hope for a Broken Heart

I wrote these poems to Tricia in the weeks after she went on to heaven. I did not know the end of her life was near until 7 days before she died. She had been sick and in pain for nearly a year. We fought together the sicknesses during that time.

Little did we know that she had been having mini-stokes for the last 3 to 5 years. That caused many of the problems we went to get help at the ER for a year but did not know it was the strokes. She had one during the operation and then more until her life ended on Friday evening, November 25, 2016.

I sent these poems to family and friends over the months following Tricia’s death. Many asked if they could send them on to others who had lost their loved ones. They said it helped them because I put into words what they were feeling but could not express. It helped me to write down my emotions over the months while feeling her loss every day.

After the Mongols overrun their defensive position on the Great Wall of China, a Captain of the guard and Sargent rescue a young kitchen serving woman from the Mongols.  They fight enemy soldiers, a dragon and many other adventures until at the end they find out that the woman is the emperors princess daughter.  She had been living in disguise in preparation to be the next queen.  Complication: The Captain of the guard has fallen in love with the princess and she cannot marry a commoner.

Many of the principles were used by Tricia and me as we counseled young engaged or married couples for over 20 years. Now they help me to be a better husband to my new wife of 4 years.

Adam and Eve, a Love Story

A love story that covers over ten and a half decades. (Adam died at age 930) This is a back story on the life of Adam and Eve. Genesis 1:1-4 covers only Adam and Eve’s fall and expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Yet Adam lived 950 years. What happened during his life span?

Where the Bible is clear about their life, I put that in my book. The rest is speculations as to what happed to them, their children, mainly Cain, Able and Seth, and their grandchildren down to Methuselah their 9th grandson removed. How long did they live in the Garden? How were they tricked by Satan. How did they survive outside the Garden where the plants were not as bountiful and the cursed ground produced weeds and thistles that reduced their available food. Thus, they had to work “by the sweat of the brow.” Gen. 3:19

Noah and the Flood Trilogy

At the end of the story of Adam and Eve in the year 1056, after creation, Noah is born. What happens in the world during Noah’s time is recorded in my three-book Noah trilogy. Book 1 of the Noah trilogy will begin 1066 years after creation when Noah turns 10. Noah was born 126 years after Adam died. Adam knew Methuselah for 237 years. Methuselah lived to be 969 and died the year the Flood came on the earth. Noah died at 950 years old. He lived 350 more years after the Flood yet only 10 verses cover what he did in that time (Gen. 9:18-28) Where the Bible tells the history of his life, mostly before the flood, (Gen. 5:28-9:28) I record that. The rest is my speculation. 

Book 1 Noah the Carpenter Life before the Flood. 120 years building the Ark.
Book 2 Noah the Captain Life on the Flood. 370 days on the water.
Book 3 Noah the Teacher Life after the Flood.

For 350 years Noah lived into the time of Terah, Abraham’s father. I speculate that for 350 years Noah evangelized for God Creator, tried to stop his grandson Nimrod from building pagan temples to the moon god and may have visited his 15th removed grandson, Terah, Abraham’s father, at Ur of the Chaldeans.
